Freak Workouts Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Freak Workouts is a workout-planning and progress-tracking application provided by The Freak Company, LLC(“The Freak Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use Freak Workouts.
This policy applies to Freak Workouts. Other Freak apps may have their own app-specific privacy policies.
1. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide and improve Freak Workouts.
Account information. When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive and store your Firebase account ID, email address or Apple private relay address, display name, optional first and last name, and account creation and sign-in dates.
Profile information. If you choose to add a profile image, we process and store that image and its associated file address.
Workout and fitness data. We store the data you create in the app, including workout dates, exercise names, muscle groups, sets, repetitions, load, duration, training volume, workout status, and related progress history. This information may be considered health or fitness-related information in some jurisdictions.
Subscription information. When you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and RevenueCat process information such as the product selected, subscription status, entitlement status, trial eligibility, transaction and renewal dates, cancellation status, and receipt-related purchase information. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Technical and analytics information. We collect limited technical and usage information, such as app version, device type, operating system, language, app events, and subscription or onboarding events. We use Firebase Analytics for limited product measurement. We do not intentionally send your workout content, email address, or Firebase account ID to Firebase Analytics.
Support communications. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message, such as your email address and the details needed to respond.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Sync your workout data across supported devices.
- Show your workout history, charts, and progress.
- Process, validate, restore, and manage subscription access.
- Provide support and respond to privacy, billing, or legal requests.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Understand how core flows such as onboarding, subscriptions, and features perform.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your workout data for targeted advertising.
3. How we share information
We share information only as necessary to operate Freak Workouts:
- Apple: provides Sign in with Apple and processes App Store purchases, trials, billing, subscription cancellation, refunds, and purchase restoration.
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud: Firebase Authentication manages account authentication; Cloud Firestore stores account and workout data; Cloud Storage stores an optional profile image; Firebase Analytics processes limited analytics and technical information.
- RevenueCat: processes your Firebase account ID as an app user ID, purchase and entitlement information, and limited device/app information to validate purchases and provide subscription access. RevenueCat does not receive your workout records or profile image.
- Support providers: process messages you send so we can respond.
- Legal or business transactions: where necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets.
If you use multiple Freak apps with one account, limited account details, app-activation flags, and subscription-entitlement information may be associated with that shared account. Your Freak Workouts records remain app-specific unless we clearly tell you otherwise.
4. No sale or advertising profile
We do not sell personal information. We do not use workout data for cross-context behavioural advertising, and Freak Workouts does not show third-party advertisements.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain account and workout data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements.
You can delete individual workout records in the app. To request deletion of your full Freak account and data under our control, contact us at hello@thefreakcompany.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Deletion of your Freak account does not cancel an Apple subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Apple, RevenueCat, and other providers may retain certain transaction, security, or backup information under their own legal and retention obligations.
6. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access controls and encrypted transmission. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a request, contact hello@thefreakcompany.com. We may request information needed to verify that the request relates to your account.
8. Children
Freak Workouts is not directed to children under 13, or any higher minimum age required for independent consent in the user’s jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required.
